Great value on membership

I was looking for a good deal on a gym membership and found Everyone Active. The no joining fee offer and the first month free really helped me save some money right off the bat. It made the decision to sign up much easier, and I felt like I got a really good deal for what I'm paying now.

Loved the swimming lessons

I just finished a block of adult swimming lessons and had a fantastic time! My instructor was so patient and encouraging, I learned a lot. The pool was clean and warm, and I felt really comfortable. I'm definitely going to sign up for the next level. So happy with my progress!

Good facilities, slow booking

I signed up for a gym membership last month. The equipment at my local center is modern and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly when I visited. Booking group exercise classes online was a bit clunky though, and sometimes the app froze. It eventually went through, but they could improve that system.

How do their gyms compare to PureGym or The Gym Group? Looking for something with decent equipment and not too crowded usually.

R Rachel Moore 3 weeks ago
Honestly, it varies a lot by location. Some are super modern, others feel a bit older. I'd say they're generally a step up from PureGym in terms of facilities, but maybe not as fancy as Nuffield.

They're usually a bit better equipped than PureGym, especially with pools and more diverse classes. Crowding depends heavily on the time of day and specific centre though, same as any gym really.

Hey, thinking about signing up for a gym membership. Does everyone active do student discounts or anything like that?

A Amanda R. 1 month ago
Yeah, they totally do! I got one when I signed up last year. Just need to show your student ID, I think.

They usually have student and NHS discounts. Check their site for details on how to apply it, it's usually during the online signup process.

Does anyone know if they still do the 'no joining fee' promotions? Trying to avoid that upfront cost.

L Leah J. 3 weeks ago
Oh yeah, they run those all the time. Check their homepage, there's usually a banner or something. Or sometimes you need a specific code.

I just joined last month and got the no joining fee deal! It pops up pretty frequently, especially around new year or summer. Sometimes it's combined with a 'first month free' offer too.

I'm looking at trying out a few classes before committing to a membership. Do they offer a free trial pass or anything like that?

R Richard Flores 4 weeks ago
They definitely do free day passes sometimes. Keep an eye on their website or local centre page.

Yeah, I got a 7-day free trial last summer! It let me try out a bunch of different stuff. Just check if your local one is running the offer.

Are their memberships just for one specific center or can I use any Everyone Active gym with it?

J Jeff J. 1 week ago
It depends on the membership type you get. Some are multi-site, some are single. Make sure to check the specific one you're looking at.

From my experience, most standard memberships are tied to your home club, but they do have options for multi-site access, usually for a bit more. Worth asking at your local centre.
